Maggie is Your Calaveras County Animal Services Pet of the Week!

San Andreas, CA… Meet Maggie – a sweet, declawed, white and gray tabby about 10 years of age. A big gal weighing almost 16 pounds, Maggie has been through a lot. She was originally brought to the shelter with her brother in 2015 because her owner was moving and unable to keep them. Maggie was then adopted by a wonderful woman who loves her very much but moving to an assisted living facility and cannot bring Maggie with her.

Friendly but cautious, it does take Maggie awhile to warm up to new people and situations. Maggie’s ideal home would be a calm, quiet one where she will come to feel secure and know she is loved once again. Maggie must also remain indoors since she is declawed.

As with all cats available for adoption, Maggie is up-to-date on her routine vaccinations and has been micro-chipped. Already spayed, she is able to go home with you today. Should you be 55 or older yourself, Maggie’s adoption fee is only $5!

Come visit Maggie, impound no. AO52559, along with other cats and dogs awaiting their forever homes at Calaveras County Animal Services, 901 Jeff Tuttle Drive, San Andreas (in government center by the new jail).
