Calaveras Community Foundation (CCF) Awards Career & Technical Training (C&TT) Scholarships for 2021 totaling $9,000

Angels Camp, CA…Calaveras Community Foundation (CCF) awarded Career and Technical Training (C&TT) scholarships to a total of six high school students recently., Awards Nights were held in late May and early June. Three Calaveras High School students, two Bret Harte High School students and one Mountain Oaks student
each received $1,500.

Calaveras High School students receiving scholarships and their fields of study are: Andrew Cragun-automotive technology, Dyana Granados-nursing
and Andrew Henderson-computer science.

Annaliese Hamari, Mountain Oaks School, is interested in becoming a medical assistant.

Bret Harte students winning awards were: Edith Gomez-nursing and Matthew LaRette-forestry/business/education.

The 2021 C&TT Scholarship recipients above plan to attend local schools including: Columbia Community College, and San Joaquin Delta College.

“These well-deserving students receiving C&TT scholarships are to be commended! Many generous donations from individuals and local businesses make these sizable scholarships available to local students” states Linda Kangeter, CCF Scholarship Committee Chair.

CCF administers the fund that makes these C&TT scholarships possible. Since the C&TT Scholarship fund’s inception in 2011, over $113,500 has been awarded, thanks to the generosity of business and individual donors.
