Calaveras County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various work on State Routes 4, 26 and 49.

Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
Route 4
• One-way traffic control from Pennsylvania Gulch Road to Mitchler Street for
drainage work from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. beginning Monday, August 2, through
Friday, August 6, 2021. This work is part of the center, left-turn lane project in
Murphys.
Route 26
• One-way traffic control from Gold Creek Drive to County View Drive in Valley
Springs for utility work from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. beginning Monday, August 2,
through Thursday, August 5, and from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6,
2021.
• One-way traffic control from Buckeye Lane to Gilhaven Road in Mokelumne Hill
for utility work from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.
Route 49
• One-way traffic control from Carol Kennedy Road to Angels Road in San
Andreas for shoulder work beginning Monday, August 2, through Thursday,
August 5, 2021, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from Route 26 in Mokelumne Hill to Route 12 in San
Andreas for shoulder work beginning Monday, August 2, through Thursday,
August 5, 2021, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic
incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related
issues.
