Copperopolis, CA…An Elk Grove woman was driving a Toyota Avalon northbound on Obyrnes Ferry Rd,approaching the posted stop sign at SR-4. A Modesto man was driving an F-150 westbound on SR-4, east of Obyrnes Ferry Rd, in the westbound traffic lane at approximately 55 MPH. The Toyota entered the intersection, and traveled directly into the path of the pickup. As a result, the front of the F-150 collided with the right side of the Toyota. Both vehicles traveled out of control and came to rest on the northwest corner of the intersection.

Alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be a contributing factor to this collision.
