Possible Delays On Highways 4, 12, 26 and 49 January 25th through 28th

Calaveras County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform highway construction next week on State Routes 4, 12, 26 and 49. Work is scheduled as follows: Route 4• One-way traffic control from Sheep Ranch Road to Rancho Paradiso for utility work beginning Tuesday, January 25, through Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. • Shoulder restriction at Boards Crossing Road for highway construction beginning Monday, January 24, through Friday, January 28, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Route 12 • Shoulder restriction from Southworth Road to Whelisma Railroad Crossing for utility work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022. Route 26 • Shoulder restriction at Sandy Gulch Road for highway construction beginning Monday, January 24, through Friday, January 28, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Route 49 • One-way traffic control from Sixmile Creek to Church Street/Pine Street for tree work from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

Motorists should expect 5- to 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
