Managing Your Photos is June 11 SMUG Meeting Focus

Arnold, CA…Apple users who would like to get the most out of their photo collection are invited to attend the Tuesday, June 11 meeting of the Sierra Macintosh Users Group (SMUG) that will begin at 7 p.m. in the assembly room of the Ebbetts Pass Fire District, 1037 Blagen Rd., Arnold, just off Highway 4. SMUG President Dick Cross, who has a much cherished photo obsession, will be making the presentation. He will demonstrate how to organize your pictures on a variety of Apple products using iCloud, how to manipulate them internally, and ways to take advantage of other available editing tools. As is always the case at SMUG meetings, questions about any Apple product or application will be welcomed and encouraged. “There is no such thing as a dumb question,” states Cross. “We are all in the process of learning and members are encouraged to ask.”

SMUG meetings are designed for dues paying members but anyone is welcome to attend to see if they would like to join the group. SMUG was founded in 1995 and is a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers. It meets the second Tuesday of the month, January through November. Annual dues are $20 for an individual or couple payable at the first of the year.

The organization exists to keep Apple users abreast of the latest developments and to address the nagging questions that arise from time to time. Its goal is to take the mystery out of computers and to enable members to take advantage of all the features their Mac products possess.
