Leanne married Ronald Aschwanden after meeting in a relationship class at Foothill Community Church in Angels Camp. Ron and Leanne were married for 20 years and lived most of their lives in Vallecito near family. This was followed by a move to Goleta where Ron had accepted a new banking job.

While in Goleta doctors discovered Leanne’s cancer. Leanne never lost sight of who she was while battling through good and bad days. With Ron, family and friends by her side she was moved to City of Hope in Duarte, California to receive the best care.
