Get In The Holiday Spirit At Columbia State Historic Park

Columbia, CA…This year, Columbia will host a variety of holiday events. Kicking off the season, the City Hotel Restaurant will host Thanksgiving Dinner. Selections include a three course meal of either turkey, halibut, or prime rib along with a starter and dessert. Keeping with the annual tradition, the Victorian Feast will also be held at the City Hotel Restaurant. The feast will run from December 9th, 11th, 15th, and 16th beginning at 6:00pm each evening, and will include Christmas carols, a five course meal and fine wines.

On December 2nd and 3rd, take part in the docent-led Lamplight Tours. This year’s program titled “The Grand Holiday Raffle!” revolves around the year 1855 where a raffle brings together the local citizens to help a destitute immigrant woman and her children newly arrived in Columbia. Participants will be led by kerosene lantern down the streets of Columbia to visit various vignettes in a walking play.

The City Hotel is proud to announce their holiday packages for the season. Lamplight weekend packages are available December 2nd and 3rd and include one night stay in the City or Fallon Hotel, $50 dining credit to the City Hotel Restaurant, two Lamplight tickets, and a bottle of wine. Polar Pajama Packages are also available for those visitors with tickets to a train ride at Railtown 1897 in December. Petite room packages start at just $119 and include a one-night stay, transportation to and from Railtown, and a pajama breakfast at the Columbia House Restaurant.
