The local attestations can be viewed on the State webpage https:\/\/www.cdph.ca.gov\/Programs\/CID\/DCDC\/Pages\/COVID-19\/Local-Variance-Attestations.aspx.\u00a0 Counties that have met certain criteria in containing COVID-19 may consider increasing the pace at which they advance through Stage 2 of California&#8217;s roadmap to modify the Stay-at-Home order. \u201cThe goal is to open Calaveras County in a way that minimizes the risk for COVID-19,\u201d said Dr. Dean Kelaita, Calaveras County Health Officer. \u201cWe have met the readiness criteria from the State and can fully move into Stage 2.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-98549\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/cccovid.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"571\" height=\"271\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/cccovid.jpg 571w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/cccovid-300x142.jpg 300w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/cccovid-570x271.jpg 570w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 571px) 100vw, 571px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Further movement into Stage 2 means that the certain businesses can re-open so long as they meet State requirements that include:<\/p>\n<p>1. Performing a detailed risk assessment and implement a site-specific protection plan<\/p>\n<p>2. Train employees on how to limit the spread of COVID-19, including how to screen themselves for symptoms and stay home if they have them<\/p>\n<p>3. Implement individual control measures and screenings<\/p>\n<p>4. Implement disinfecting protocols<\/p>\n<p>5. Implement physical distancing guidelines<\/p>\n<p>Industry specific detail about how to meet these State requirements can be found at: https:\/\/covid19.ca.gov\/roadmap\/. Businesses that are allowed to reopen as part of Stage 2 should keep their risk assessment and site-specific protection plan on hand at their place of business so that customers who wish to see it, can.<\/p>\n<p>Not all businesses qualify for re-opening as part of advancing in Stage 2. Only the following businesses can re-open in Stage 2 with modifications at this time:<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Retail Sector<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Logistics Sector<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Manufacturing Sector<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Destination retail, including shopping malls and swap meets.<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Personal services, limited to: car washes, pet grooming, tanning facilities, and landscape gardening.<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Office-based businesses (telework remains strongly encouraged)<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Dine-in restaurants (other amenities, like bars or gaming areas, are not permitted)<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Outdoor museums and open gallery spaces<\/p>\n<p>This list may be periodically updated so we encourage the public to visit: https:\/\/www.cdph.ca.gov\/Programs\/CID\/DCDC\/Pages\/COVID-19\/Local-Variance-Attestations.aspx for the latest updates.<\/p>\n<p>Not permitted in Stage 2:<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Personal services such as nail salons, tattoo parlors, gyms and fitness studios<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Entertainment venues with limited capacities, such as movie theaters, gaming, gambling, and arcade venues, and pro sports<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Indoor museums, kids museums and gallery spaces, zoos and libraries<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Community centers, including public pools, playgrounds, and picnic areas<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Limited-capacity religious services and cultural ceremonies<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Nightclubs<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Concert venues<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Live audience sports<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Festivals<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Theme parks<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Hotels\/lodging for leisure and tourism \u2013 non-essential travel<\/p>\n<p>\uf0b7 Higher Education<\/p>\n<p>For more information visit https:\/\/covid19.calaverasgov.us\/.
