The regional closure order 20-03 closed all designated recreation sites and campgrounds through May 15. Local forest order STF-16-2020-07 will be in effect beginning May 16, 2020 and is scheduled to expire May 31. A copy of the forest order will be posted on the Stanislaus National Forest web page as soon as it is available.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8368\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo.jpg 200w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo-150x169.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Forest Service is working to reopen developed recreation sites for full access and ask that visitors be patient during this transition period. Be prepared for other options if your trail is closed, and whenever possible, recreate locally.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors are asked to be aware that:<\/p>\n<p>No trash removal is currently offered \u2013 please pack out all trash and waste<br \/>\nAll toilet facilities are currently closed \u2013 please plan accordingly<br \/>\nAvoid high-risk activities \u2013 law enforcement and search and rescue operations may be limited<br \/>\nIf an area is crowded, please search for a less occupied location<br \/>\nEmployee and public safety continues to be our number one priority as we closely monitor the situation and make changes accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>The order does not close trails, trailheads, and general forest areas, which remain open for public use.
