Avery, CA…We drove out Avery Sheep Ranch Road to try and get a bird’s eye view on the fire’s march towards the Hwy 4 corridor. For the first time since the fire started a bit of optimism crept in. Fire progress seems to have slowed just a bit and we pray it is enough to let more resources arrive so firefighters can make a stand. <\/p>\n

SPI had dozer crews out in force working fire breaks so the fire can’t work up the San Antonio Creek drainage and crawl into Arnold From the backside.<\/p>\n
