While the guidance itself does not obligate places of worship to resume in-person services, it is strongly recommended that they continue remote services and other related activities for groups who are most at risk for sever COVID-19 illness.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/69LlN7w5NAs\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/cccovid.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"571\" height=\"271\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-98549\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/cccovid.jpg 571w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/cccovid-300x142.jpg 300w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/cccovid-570x271.jpg 570w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 571px) 100vw, 571px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Under the new guidance, places of worship must limit attendance to 25% of building capacity or a maximum of 100, whichever is lower, for the first 21-days. After 21 days, the California Department of Public Health and local health departments will assess the impact and provide further direction to restore activities in places of worship.<\/p>\n<p>Places of worship must also take all possible steps to ensure to prevent the spread of the virus.
