The local forest order STF-16-2020-07 is scheduled to expire May 31. The new forest order, STF-16-2020-09, is effective from June 1, 2020 through June 15. A copy of the forest order will be posted on the Stanislaus National Forest web page as soon as it is available.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8368\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo.jpg 200w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo-150x169.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Forest Service is working with county and local partners to reopen developed recreation sites for full access and ask that visitors be patient during this transition period. Be prepared for other options if your recreation site is closed, and whenever possible, recreate locally.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors are asked to be aware that:<\/p>\n<p>No trash removal is currently offered \u2013 please pack out all trash and waste<br \/>\nMost toilet facilities are currently closed \u2013 please plan accordingly<br \/>\nAvoid high-risk activities \u2013 law enforcement and search and rescue operations may be limited<br \/>\nIf an area is crowded, please search for a less occupied location<br \/>\nEmployee and public safety continues to be our number one priority as we closely monitor the situation and make changes accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>The order does not close trails, trailheads, and general forest areas, which remain open for public use.
