Major Project Locations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">San Andreas, CA&#8230;During January 2019 an atmospheric river system swept across California bringing high winds, substantial precipitation, and flooding, impacting counties across the state.\u00a0 Continuing on February 12-19 another significant atmospheric river system swept across Calaveras County resulting in widespread damage to the County road system.\u00a0 Calaveras was one of several counties in California identified as being impacted by this disaster and will be receiving both State and Federal disaster recovery funds.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-23630\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/CalaverasCountySeal.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"218\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/CalaverasCountySeal.jpg 220w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/CalaverasCountySeal-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/CalaverasCountySeal-30x30.jpg 30w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 220px) 100vw, 220px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Calaveras County Department of Public Works is working with the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) and California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) to remove debris and to permanently repair several roads that were impacted by the 2019 winter storms.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On May 26, 2020 the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors approved agreements with Sierra Mountain Construction to remove approximately 1195 CYs of debris from Rail Road Flat Road and approximately 413 CYs of debris from other locations (Winton Road, Calaveritas Road, Pool Station Road, Whiskey Slide Road and Worden Road).\u00a0 Debris removal is scheduled to begin at Rail Road Flat Road and Winton Road from June 22nd \u2013 June 24<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and the remaining sites from June 25<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0\u2013 July 1st.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The table below demonstrates the remaining two debris removal projects.<\/p>\n<table width=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"137\"><strong>Debris Removal Project<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"98\"><strong>Estimated Debris Quantities<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"400\"><strong>Roads &#8212;
