Maggard was driving his Chevrolet Corvette on westbound SR-26, east of Quail Oaks Road. As Mr. Maggard was negotiating a curve in the roadway for westbound traffic, he allowed his vehicle to travel into the eastbound lane, where he lost control of the Chevrolet.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpsan.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-37824\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpsan.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpsan.jpg 200w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpsan-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpsan-30x30.jpg 30w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Chevrolet traveled back into the westbound lane out of control, where it continued off of the north roadway, onto the north shoulder of SR-26, where it overturned in a grass field. As the Chevrolet was overturning both the driver and passenger were ejected out of the vehicle, before it came to rest on its roof.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently Mr. Maggard was arrested for felony DUI.
