Vallecito, CA…On June 26, 2020, Calaveras County Probation Officers requested assistance from the Calaveras Sheriff\u2019s Office Investigations Division regarding illegal narcotics and other suspicious items. The items were located while conducting a routine probation search at a residence in the 3000 block of Juniper Drive in Vallecito. The subject of the search was probationer Brandy Felts-Patelzick. Deputies arrived at the residence and located methamphetamine, paraphernalia, cash, and evidence of illegal sales of controlled substances. Brandy Felts-Patelzick was not located at the residence; however, she was located in her vehicle in Valley Springs shortly thereafter. Investigators responded to the location of the car and conducted a search of the vehicle. Deputies located more methamphetamine, paraphernalia, cash, and heroin. During the investigation, Felts-Patelzick\u2019s storage unit was also searched. Inside the unit, Deputies discovered additional evidence of drug use and sales.
\nIn total, 23.3 grams of methamphetamine in various packaging, a small amount of heroin, $4,625 in cash, (9) hypodermic needles, and other paraphernalia was seized.<\/p>\n

Brandy Felts-Patelzick, age 47, was placed under arrest and booked into the Calaveras County Jail on charges of 1203.3 PC Felony Violation of Probation, 11378 HS Felony Possession of Controlled Substance for Sale, and a Bench Warrant out of Tuolumne County for Violation of Probation on narcotics charges.<\/p>\n

Felts-Patelzick has been arrested prior to this incident in Calaveras County for violating her probation and possessing controlled substances. Additionally, Felts-Patelzick had been released from the Calaveras County Jail as part of the State Mandated Prisoner Release due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Felts-Patelzick is being held in the <\/p>\n
