Gary has over thirty years law enforcement experience, beginning with the U.S. Border Patrol in the late 80&#8217;s, then to Calaveras Sheriff for 13 years, 5 years with the Amador County Sheriff, and the last 12 and a half years as an Investigator with the DA&#8217;s Office. Gary worked as a criminal investigator, (crimes against children, officer involved shootings, homicides, etc). Gary was awarded the California District Attorney&#8217;s Association &#8216;Outstanding Investigator of the year&#8217; in 2014, and Amador County Peace Office of the Year in 2014, stemming from a homicide investigation in Sutter Creek. Gary will be returning in a few months as a part time investigator with the DA&#8217;s Office.
