.Moisture will advance northward later this weekend and early
\nnext week, associated with what will be leftover of Tropical
\nStorm Genevieve as it weakens. This remnant moisture will lead to
\nthe increasing potential for isolated dry thunderstorms for much
\nof Northern California. Lightning with these dry thunderstorms

The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Fire
\nWeather Watch, which is in effect from Sunday morning through
\nTuesday morning.<\/p>\n
* AFFECTED AREA…Sacramento Valley, northern San Joaquin Valley,
\nnorthern Sierra Nevada, and all adjacent foothills. Includes
\nIncludes Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Lassen Volcanic
\nNational Park, and portions of Plumas, Lassen and Mendocino
\nNational Forests.<\/p>\n
* THUNDERSTORMS…Isolated dry thunderstorms will develop on
\nSunday afternoon, continuing overnight into Monday morning.
\nPotential for dry thunderstorms may linger into Tuesday.<\/p>\n
* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
