Within fifteen minutes of the initial reports, an additional report of a gunshot victim at the local hospital was received. Sonora Police Department identified the victim as 17-year-old Eric Aguiar of Jamestown. Aguiar succumbed to his injuries and Sonora Police Department determined his death to be a homicide, initiating an investigation.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/119940512_3227989540653516_6298194714361193675_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-107528\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/119940512_3227989540653516_6298194714361193675_o.jpg 640w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/119940512_3227989540653516_6298194714361193675_o-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/119940512_3227989540653516_6298194714361193675_o-123x70.jpg 123w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/119940512_3227989540653516_6298194714361193675_o-570x320.jpg 570w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On September 21st, Sonora Police Department requested the Sheriff\u2019s Office assumed the lead on the investigation of Aguiar\u2019s death. <\/p>\n<p>We have all available resources pursuing all leads. At this time, no further information will be released to ensure the integrity of the investigation. Rest assured, our office will spare no resource to solve this case.
