A German shepherd mix, we estimate him to be between 5 and 6 six years of age. Odin is very social and bonds easily with staff and volunteers. Though he may be confused by recent circumstances, Odin still very much wants to please. He willingly obeys “sit,” “stay” and heel,” but what he adores most is a good game of ball. Odin enjoys his “people” time but doesn’t seem to particularly enjoy the company of other shelter dogs so we would recommend he be the only dog in your home. At a muscular 74 plus pounds, older children would also likely be best. We believe Odin is housebroken since he keeps his kennel clean.

As with all dogs available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter, Odin is micro-chipped and up-to-date on routine vaccinations.
