Jackson, CA…On Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 3:24 am, a fire was reported in the area of Water Street and Summit Street. First arriving units at scene found a fully involved residential structure and a partially involved second commercial structure. A third commercial structure was also involved but crews were able to get knockdown inside quickly and limit. The first two buildings were a total loss. A single fatality has been reported in the residence, names are being withheld until notification of next of kin. An investigator from the ATF is on scene being assisted by a CALFIRE prevention officer as well as a Jackson Chief to determine the cause of the fire. <\/p>\n
