\n\uf0b7 Provide children with flashlights to carry for lighting or glow sticks as part of their costume
\n\uf0b7 A responsible adult should accompany young children on the neighborhood rounds
\n\uf0b7 When sorting through candy at the end of the night, be sure to throw away any candy that is not in its original wrapper, or looks as though it has been opened.
\n\uf0b7 Agree on a specific time children should return home
\n\uf0b7 Instruct children to travel only in familiar, well-lit areas and stick with their friends
\n\uf0b7 Children and adults are reminded to put electronic devices down, keep heads up and walk, don’t run, across the street
