Sonora, CA…A Sonora woman died in a single-vehicle collision yesterday evening. The 20-year-old driver of an eastbound 1998 Jeep Cherokee was ejected when the vehicle overturned on the Stockton Road onramp off Highway 108.
\nThe Police Department received the 9-1-1 call at approximately 6:38 pm and arrived on scene at 6:40 pm. Despite lifesaving efforts made by a citizen, law enforcement, and ultimately fire\/medical personnel, the driver sadly succumb to her injuries. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle.<\/p>\n
