Wion was traveling southbound on Bummerville Road, south of Winton Road when he attempted to make a stop on a vehicle for multiple vehicle code violations.  As Officer J. Wion attempted to make an enforcement stop the driver\/suspect failed to comply and a pursuit through West Point ensued.  The pursuit lasted for approximately two hours and involved multiple allied agencies&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/chplogo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/chplogo.jpg\" alt=\"chplogo\" width=\"220\" height=\"94\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1763\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The pursuit terminated at the intersection of SR-26 and Woodhouse Mine Road.  The   driver\/suspect exited the vehicle but failed to comply with Officers commands.  The driver\/suspect was TAZED but continued to flee on foot.   An allied agencies K-9 was deployed and the driver\/suspect was successfully taken into custody.
