At that same time and location, 59-year-old John Canavan of Kool, CA was riding his 2018 BMW motorcycle southbound on State Route 49, north of Schilling Road at approximately 30-35 miles per hour, approaching a left curve in the roadway. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpson.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-37822\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpson.jpg 200w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpson-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpson-30x30.jpg 30w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ms. Granados allowed her motorcycle to travel over the double yellow line directly in front of Mr. Canavan\u2019s motorcycle and as a result, the front of Ms. Granados\u2019 motorcycle crashed into the front of Mr. Canavan\u2019s motorcycle.  After the crash, both riders were ejected from their respective motorcycles and landed on the roadway. Ms. Granados suffered major injuries and was flown to Memorial Medical Center for treatment.
