The male victim encountered three unknown suspects on his property. One of the suspects discharged a firearm at the victim, striking him in the upper torso. The suspects fled the scene, possibly on foot towards Pool Station Road. The victim was conscious and alert upon the deputies\u2019 arrival. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/shrfsm_3-001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/shrfsm_3-001.jpg\" alt=\"shrfsm_3-001\" width=\"222\" height=\"130\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7342\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/shrfsm_3-001.jpg 222w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/shrfsm_3-001-220x130.jpg 220w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/shrfsm_3-001-150x88.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 222px) 100vw, 222px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Calaveras County Deputies, Angels Camp Police Officers, and the California Highway Patrol Officers, including a CHP helicopter, searched the area for the suspects with negative results. Calaveras Sheriff\u2019s Detectives responded to the scene are currently investigating this incident. Preliminary statements and evidence indicate that this shooting is related to a marijuana growing operation.<\/p>\n<p>The suspects in this incident and are described as follows: Suspect#1: 5\u201910\u201d, 220 pounds, wearing a black hoody with mask and armed with a handgun; Suspect #2: 6\u2019 heavy build, black hoody with mask.
