One of the most unique features of the UWPA system is  Ross Reservoir. The dam you see captured was built with stones by miners in the late 1890&#8217;s to create a 100-acre-foot reservoir. Visible from French Gulch Road, it is now used to regulate the water for UWPA&#8217;s Angels Powerhouse and deliveries to the City of Angels water treatment plant for consumptive use.
