Angels Camp, CA…Lenora was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on February 27, 1925, the youngest of Andrew and Maggie Downie\u02bcs four daughters. She passed away during the early morning hours of October 12, 2015 in the Sonora home of her daughter Christine and son-in-law Ron Behrens with whom she resided for the past eleven years. During World War II Lenora met her husband, Wilbert (Roy). They married August 10, 1944. After World War II they moved to New Jersey where they had nine children. In 1966 the family moved to California.<\/p>\n
Lenora is survived by sons Mark (wife Terri) , Andrew (wife Melanie), Wilbert, Jr. (wife
\nErin); daughters Diana, Christine Behrens (husband Ronald), Magdalene Letner
\n(husband Richard), Marguerite, Veronica Kohaya (husband Bobby), twelve
\ngrandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Lenora was preceded in death by her
\nhusband of 38 years Wilbert Leroy Wilson Sr., her first born, Robert, and grandson,
\nMatthew.<\/p>\n
Visitation was October 22, 2015 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. at the Angels Memorial Chapel
\nin Angels Camp. A graveside service was held at St. Patrick\u02bcs Church in Murphys on
