Harry Auten, Coach. Taken from 1941 Bret Harte Year Book<\/strong><\/p>\n Mr. Auten was a teacher and coach at Bret Harte for 19 years. During that time, he taught many different subjects, started the Bret Harte football program in 1928, and led his baseball team to a League Championship title and Bret Harte\u2019s only appearance at a CIF Tournament in 1930.
