* WHAT…Dangerously hot conditions with afternoon highs 100 to
\n115 degrees. Overnight lows mainly in the upper 60s to mid 80s.<\/p>\n
* WHERE…Much of interior northern California.<\/p>\n
* WHEN…From Friday morning through Monday evening.<\/p>\n
* IMPACTS…High to very high heat risk. Extreme heat will
\nsignificantly increase the potential for heat-related illnesses.<\/p>\n

Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates on this
\nsituation. Be prepared to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-
\nconditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives
\nand neighbors.<\/p>\n
Young children and pets should never be left unattended in
\nvehicles under any circumstances. This is especially true during
\nwarm or hot weather when car interiors can reach lethal
