.Low pressure area moving through the region on Thursday will
\nbring shifting gusty winds, very low humidity, and extremely dry
\nfuels combine to bring critical fire weather conditions over the
\nNorthern and Central Sacramento Valley, Coastal Range mountains
\ntonight as well as in the northeast foothills and mountains of
\neastern Shasta and Western Plumas counties and the Northern Sierra
\nNevada through Thursday evening. Relative humidity levels
\ngradually increase over low elevations on Thursday, with higher
\nelevations remaining dry and winds increasing again during the day
\nbefore becoming lighter in the evening.<\/p>\n

* AFFECTED AREA…The Burney Basin, northeast foothills, Lassen
\nNational Park, and mountains of western Plumas County and of
\neastern Shasta County.<\/p>\n
* WIND…Southwest 10 to 20 mph with local gusts up to 35 mph,
\nlocally higher. Strongest wind expected afternoons into
\nevenings. Wind shifts to the west northwest late day Thursday.<\/p>\n
* HUMIDITY…Minimum humidity in the single digits to mid
\nteens. Overnight humidity recoveries 20 to 45 percent.<\/p>\n
* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
\nOutdoor burning is not recommended.<\/p>\n
