Officer Boberg\u2019s service to California will be forever remembered.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailytide.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/241721276_4705682396148942_1999375440396287533_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-11108\" src=\"https:\/\/dailytide.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/241721276_4705682396148942_1999375440396287533_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Officer Boberg, 42, passed away on September 7, 2021 due to complications related to COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>Officer Boberg had been assigned to the CHP\u2019s San Andreas Area Office since 2014. He began his career as a CHP officer after graduating from the CHP Academy in 2009 and was assigned to the Monterey Area Office.
