To ensure the safety of maintenance crews and the motoring public, Caltrans will require intermittent full closures of SR-108 as crews will be performing blasting work on Tuesday, September, 21, 2021, scheduled for late morning and early afternoon; blasting is expected to end by Tuesday afternoon.  <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Hwy108sign.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"248\" height=\"203\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-121144\" \/><\/p>\n<p>State Route 108 will be closed just east of Peaceful Oak Road, between Hess Avenue and Mono Way during these closures.<\/p>\n<p>Motorists should expect up to 15-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.<br \/>\nCaltrans will utilize flaggers, along with overhead and changeable message signs, alerting motorists to the work to be done.<\/p>\n<p>When completed, motorists will have a new eastbound on-ramp and westbound off- ramp on State Route 108 as part of the East Sonora Bypass.<\/p>\n<p>This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and\/or materials and construction related issues.
