Bear Valley, CA….Bear Valley Cross Country started their 2015\/16 season off with 17 trails that opened today. Tomorrow Bear Valley Mountain will have wheels turning for the public starting at 9am. So head on up and get the season started off. Tonight is Movie Night at 7pm in the Cathedral Lounge – Backcountry Film Festival at Bear Valley Lodge. Nothing says opening weekend like an excellent backcountry adventure that will fuel the spirit for the winter fun ahead. Requested donation $20 adult, $10 Children Under 10. All ticket purchasers will receive a lift ticket for the 2015\/16 season.<\/p>\n

SATURDAY – AT THE SKI AREA<\/p>\n

Opening Day at the Mountain, Lifts start turning at 9am. We are looking forward to a festive saturday and with the possibility of a few good storms beforehand, it is going to be spectacular opening day. Tickets on Sale online
\nBungy Trampoline – On mtn lifts will be turning and bungy trampoline will be flying. (weather permitting) <\/p>\n

Ski Swap – here is how the Ski Swap works:<\/p>\n

All ski gear must be in good condition and 5 seasons old or newer
\nSellers-Bring your equipment to our Ski Swap site in the Bear Bungalow located next to the Sunroom.
\nEach item to be sold at the ski swap will be tagged with a number, the seller’s name and the price
\nSellers have the choice of donating the gear to BVSEF for sale or receiving the sale proceeds less 15%.
\nSellers will retain a claim check with the number corresponding to the tag and their name, equipment description and price will be logged
\nBuyers make their selection and take their items to check out. Payment can be made by cash, credit card or check made payable to the Seller.
\nAt the end of the auction, Sellers will collect their proceeds by presenting their claim tickets. Seller will donate 15% of the total sale proceeds to BVSEF in cash, credit card or check made payable to “BVSEF”.
\nSellers who have elected to donate their gear will receive a donation acknowledgement\/receipt that can be used for tax purposes.
\nItems that are not sold must be claimed and removed by 4 pm Saturday afternoon<\/p>\n

SATURDAY – IN THE VILLAGE – Open House in Village begins at 10am, stop by local businesses and pick up raffle tickets for Saturday Night Raffle<\/p>\n

5:00pm – Avalanche Lecture with Mountain Adventure Seminars 5pm Reba Sports Village<\/p>\n
