Case counts do not include self-administered home tests. The updated Amador County COVID-19 dashboard provides specific demographic and geographic data: http:\/\/www.amadorgov.org\/services\/covid-19<br \/>\nSutter Amador Hospital has thirteen patients hospitalized due to COVID illness. Of those in the hospital, only one is vaccinated but has not had a booster. Two additional COVID deaths were confirmed this week, both females in their 70\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/amacovid.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/amacovid.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"531\" height=\"253\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-101760\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/amacovid.jpg 531w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/amacovid-300x143.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 531px) 100vw, 531px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The federal government has officially launched their website offering four free rapid antigen test kits to every residential address in the United States. Those interested in ordering free at-\u2060home COVID-\u206019 tests may visit: https:\/\/www.covidtests.gov\/. If you test positive with any at home test, please follow current self-isolation guidelines and inform your close contacts to self-quarantine.<\/p>\n<p>COVID-19 testing options within Amador and the surrounding areas are listed on the Amador County Testing Sites website. The local OptumServe testing site operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 7 AM to 7 PM. Please register for this no-cost testing at the lhi.care website or by calling 1-888-634- 1123. OptumServe may accommodate walk-ins on a limited basis. Masks are required at the testing site. Anyone with any symptoms, even fully vaccinated individuals, should isolate and test.<\/p>\n<p>COVID-19 vaccines are available for everyone age 5 and over. No-cost COVID-19 vaccine clinics, located at the Health and Human Services Building, are held on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 AM to 6 PM. Walk-in opportunities may be limited. To ensure an appointment visit the myturn.ca.gov website or call 1-833-422-4255. To schedule an appointment for a homebound individual call Amador Public Health at (209) 223-6407.
