San Andreas, CA…Meet CHEETO (A054019), a handsome short-haired orange tabby adult who is between 1 and 1-1\/2 years old. Cheeto is at the shelter because his previous owner said she was too busy to care for him and because our volunteers are already full! He\u2019s adorable! Cheeto is quite friendly and loves attention, especially when you rub his belly. He has an outgoing personality and enjoys meeting new people. He co-exists peacefully with other friendly cats but can become annoyed if they want to play with him. He will probably do well in a household as the only kitty or in a household with another friendly cat as long as the other kitty allows him his personal space. Since Cheeto is already neutered, he can go home with you right away.<\/p>\n

Please use Cheeto\u2019s intake number (A054019) when making inquiries at the shelter.<\/p>\n

All cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations and will be microchipped. All unaltered cats must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.<\/p>\n

Animal Services now has a Fee Flexibility Program!
\nWhen the dog or cat population at the shelter is at 80% or above capacity, the total adoption fee will be 50% off\u2013\u2013reduced to $40 for dogs and $30 for cats. The adoption fee for cats who arrive at the shelter already altered will be $10. With the 55-5-5 Program, any time an adopter is 55 or older and adopts any pet over 5 years old, the adoption fee is $5.<\/p>\n
