The Angels Camp Museum Foundation invites you to join us for this very special lecture by Lynn Downey, the former Historian for Levi Strauss & Co.\u00a0 Lynn came to speak to us in at the museum back in 2017 and we are thrilled to welcome her back!<\/p>\n

Lynn will be talking about her new book,\u00a0American Dude Ranch: A Touch of the Cowboy and the Thrill of the West. Movies, food, women\u2019s history, clothing: all of these have a history with the dude ranch, and Lynn has stories to tell in her illustrated talk. She writes a blog about the West at:\u00a0https:\/\/tumblereadsblog.com\/blog-sg\/<\/a>, and her website is at\u00a0http:\/\/www.lynndowney.com<\/a>.\u00a0 She will have copies of her book for sale and signing at the lecture.\u00a0 Books are $20 each.<\/p>\n
