This project is in the North-Eastern portion of Calaveras County, four miles north of Wilseyville near Schaad Road and Forest Creek in West Point, CA. Smoke may be visible in the area during the prescribed burn. This prescribed burn is designed to reduce forest fuels in strategic locations within the project area.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/calfiretcu.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/calfiretcu.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-45557\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/calfiretcu.jpg 320w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/calfiretcu-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/calfiretcu-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/calfiretcu-30x30.jpg 30w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The prescribed burn is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 2, 2022 and will conclude Tuesday, May 3, 2022.
