San Andreas, CA…Now Therefore be it Proclaimed by the Board of Supervisors, County of Calaveras. A PROCLAMATION HONORING CALAVERAS HIGH SCHOOL\u2019S 2022 GIRLS\u2019 SOFTBALL TEAM AND COACHES FOR AN UNDEFEATED SEASON.\u00a0 WHEREAS, the hard work, dedication, sportsmanship, talent and exceptional team chemistry of the 2022 Calaveras High School softball team has enabled these student athletes to earn the Mother Lode League Champions title; and<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

WHEREAS, the Calaveras High school softball team remained undefeated in the Mother Lode League with a record of 15-0, with a winning streak of 53 games; and<\/p>\n

WHEREAS, the win is the fourth time that the Calaveras High Girls\u2019 Softball team is headed to the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division V playoffs as the number 1 seed; and<\/p>\n

WHEREAS, alongside team members, parents, faculty and the student body of the Calaveras High School were integral in guiding the team to victory through their unwavering support; and<\/p>\n

WHEREAS, led by Head Coach Mike Koepp, Assistant Coaches Eric Baechler and Lindy Pettijohn, and Statistician Miranda Cardon, the Calaveras High Girls\u2019 Softball Team achieved an incredible level of success during their 2022 season; and<\/p>\n

WHEREAS, tremendous sportsmanship, integrity, and character were demonstrated by Kaylee Howard, Bailie Clark, Madison Clark, Brooke Nordahl, Madyson Bernasconi, Laney Koepp, Reese Mossa, Macy Villegas, Mariah Maddock, Camryn Harvey, Emily Johnson, Ila Belflower, Page Johnston, Jaime Belflower, Izzy Tapia, and Brynn Gardina; and<\/p>\n

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED that the Board of Supervisors, County of Calaveras, State of California, does hereby recognize and heartily congratulate Calaveras High School and the 2022 Girls\u2019 Softball Team and Coaches on its outstanding accomplishment of an UNDEFEATED season.<\/p>\n

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Calaveras, State of California, this 7th day of June, 2022.
