San Andreas, CA…Now Therefore be it Proclaimed by the Board of Supervisors, County of Calaveras. A PROCLAMATION HONORING CALAVERAS HIGH SCHOOL\u2019S 2022 CIF SAC-JOAQUIN SECTION DIVISION IV BASEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP. WHEREAS, the hard work, dedication, sportsmanship, talent and exceptional team chemistry of the 2022 Calaveras High School baseball team has enabled these student athletes to earn a Championship title; and WHEREAS, the win is the first section championship victory in the history of Calaveras High School baseball; and<\/p>\n

WHERESAS, alongside team members, parents, faculty and the student body of Calaveras High School were integral in guiding the team to victory through their unwavering support; and<\/p>\n

WHEREAS, led by Head Coach Tom DeLappe and Assistant Coaches Dan Sweet, Donald Durham, Trace Durham, and Jake Mote, the Calaveras High Boys Baseball Team achieved an incredible level of success during their 2022 season; and<\/p>\n

WHEREAS, tremendous sportsmanship, integrity, and character were demonstrated by Tyler Maddock, Chris Maddock, Brayden Brim, Jason Nelson, Chance Brooks, Andy Rios, Gus Tofanelli, Jay Ashe, Mason Moser, Dean Habbestad, Aiden Look, Jacob Campbell and Woody Gardina; and<\/p>\n

WHEREAS, winning the 2022 CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division IV Baseball Championship brought honor to Calaveras High School and to the community members of Calaveras County; and<\/p>\n

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED that the Board of Supervisors, County of Calaveras, State of California, does hereby recognize and heartily congratulate Calaveras High School and the 2022 CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division IV Championship Baseball Team on its outstanding accomplishment.<\/p>\n
