Tawny is a perfect name for this mellow cuddlebug who just wants to follow you around.<\/p>\n

This gentle girl arrived with her brother at someone\u2019s house near the shelter. Her brother has had a soft landing thanks to volunteers from other county shelters. Now it\u2019s Tawny\u2019s turn! Her favorite thing is being cuddled.<\/p>\n

Tawny has quickly learned good leash manners and enjoys her walks. She is quiet in her kennel and may be housebroken since she keeps it clean.<\/p>\n

She is relaxed around other dogs wanting to play and has had several successful playdates. A meet \u2019n greet is required if you have another dog.<\/p>\n

All dogs available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations and will be microchipped. All unaltered dogs AND cats must be neutered before they can go home with you.<\/p>\n

Animal Services now has a Fee Flexibility Program!<\/p>\n

When the dog or cat population at the shelter is at 80% or above capacity, the total adoption fee will be 50% off\u2013\u2013reduced to $40 for dogs and $30 for cats. The adoption fee for cats who arrive at the shelter already altered will be $10. With the 55-5-5 Program, any time an adopter is 55 or older and adopts any pet over 5 years old, the adoption fee is $5.<\/p>\n
