Candidates will be pre-screened by management staff and contacted for a phone interview if qualified. True North employees must maintain the highest standards of professionalism, respect, and sensitivity to the tragic loss of life and personal property resulting from recent wildfires.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/unnamed-8.jpg\" alt=\"unnamed (8)\" width=\"202\" height=\"49\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14650\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Successful candidates will work as part of a team in accurately monitoring and documenting the debris collection and removal activities. Debris Monitors work in a busy environment that includes working around heavy equipment and debris removal vehicles. The primary role of a debris monitor is to document debris removal activities on electronic or paper load tickets which provides FEMA\/FHWA required data.<\/p>\n<p>Primary job duties of the position are as follows:<br \/>\n\u00b7         Ensure that only eligible storm debris is removed, loaded, and hauled<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Interface with contractors and crew in the field and report to the Field Supervisor<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Record information on each load ticket. Monitor may also be trained and expected to operate an automated handheld device to record information<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Ensure that debris loads are properly contained in the loading container<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Monitor contractor safety and report potential issues to the Field Supervisor<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Record and report any damage resulting from debris removal operations<\/p>\n<p>The following are minimum required skills:<br \/>\n\u00b7         Effective written and oral communication<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Attention to detail when completing debris documentation<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Ability to learn and follow instructions<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Ability to work independently to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications:<br \/>\n\u00b7         Must be at least 18 years of age<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Must have high school diploma, GED, or equivalent<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         2-3 years of work experience preferred<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Must reside within 50 miles of designated work location<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Strong work ethic (reliable, dependable, honest)<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Must have the ability to work in the outside elements for long periods of time<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Ability to work long hours (12 hours per day, 7 days a week) for 60+ days<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Ability to safely climb ladders and stairs<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Must have a valid driver\u2019s license, safe driving history, and your own dependable vehicle<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Must have current automobile insurance coverage<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Must be able to travel to various work locations within the recovery area<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Must have your own cell phone with a car charger for onsite use<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Must pass pre-employment drug screening<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Favorable criminal background investigation results<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Provide proof of citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S<\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates should contact us at 916-202-0873 or truenorthem1@gmail.com.
