Pandora is a petite kitty and has big, pale blue eyes. She is very sweet and affectionate, loves attention and enjoys meeting new humans. Pandora has a calm, quiet personality but sometimes gets the \u201czoomies\u201d and chases things only she can see and tries to climb anything she can.<\/p>\n
Pandora would be a wonderful family or companion kitty as long as the household does not have dogs, because she is frightened and upset by them. Since she is skittish and already has lived a rough outdoor life, perhaps she should be an indoor-only kitty.<\/p>\n
Please use PANDORA\u2019s intake number (A05490) when making inquiries at the shelter.<\/p>\n
All cats and dogs available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations and will be microchipped. All unaltered animals must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.<\/p>\n
Animal Services now has a Fee Flexibility Program!<\/p>\n
When the dog or cat population at the shelter is at 80% or above capacity, the total adoption fee will be 50% off\u2013\u2013reduced to $40 for dogs and $30 for cats. The adoption fee for cats who arrive at the shelter already altered will be $10. With the 55-5-5 Program, any time an adopter is 55 or older and adopts any pet over 5 years old, the adoption fee is $5.<\/p>\n
