Additionally, the County and the City are working together to identify and assist businesses and residents with storm damaged properties. It is extremely important that owners or renters of residential and commercial properties document and report what damages and costs they have incurred. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Fullscreen-capture-12312022-15038-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"455\" height=\"232\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-153444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Fullscreen-capture-12312022-15038-PM.jpg 455w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Fullscreen-capture-12312022-15038-PM-300x153.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 455px) 100vw, 455px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This will allow the County and City to determine whether they meet the Small Business Administration (SBA) criteria for assistance. A declaration by the SBA would bring in low interest disaster loan program to the County\/City. If the criteria for SBA is not met, assistance to individuals may be limited to services available from local and nonprofit agencies.<\/p>\n<p>The County has on online information portal and fillable forms which are located at<br \/>\nhttps:\/\/www.calaverasgov.us\/Calaveras-County\/Emergency-Operations<\/p>\n<p>The City has an online information portal and fillable forms that are located at https:\/\/angelscamp.gov\/emergency-operations\/<\/p>\n<p>The two types of SBA Disaster Declarations are as follows:<br \/>\nPhysical Disaster Declaration: For businesses or other eligible institutions, each sustaining uninsured losses of at least 40 percent or more of the estimated fair replacement value or pre-disaster fair market value of the damaged property. Damage must be confirmed through a formal assessment process prior to a request moving forward. If warranted, a request for an SBA disaster declaration will be submitted by the California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) Director.<\/p>\n<p>Note: homes and businesses can include renters and home based businesses; a rental property can be counted as a business and as a renter; when assessing apartments, each unit with at least 40 percent of uninsured personal property losses will be counted as one.<\/p>\n<p>Economic Injury Disaster Declaration: This will assist small businesses in a disaster area that have suffered substantial economic injury as a result of the disaster. Cal OES will work with the local government to survey businesses in the affected area for economic losses by completing an Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) worksheet.<\/p>\n<p>The Community Information call line continues to be available from 9AM to 5PM and running through January 10, 2023.
