Copperopolis, CA…On a stretch of roadway located at the intersection of Obyrnes Ferry Road and Main Street, a cow was reported to be in the roadway. At approximately 11:59 AM, the cow was causing a hazard for vehicles, which were almost hitting the large animal. A rancher was advised of the situation and planned to have someone respond to the issue. At 12:14 PM, the cow was confirmed to be present and had a yellow ear tag. The cow remained in the roadway as of 12:14 PM. It is unknown at this time what actions were taken to remove the cow from the roadway or if any incidents or accidents were caused by the animal’s presence.<\/p>\n
