Murphys, CA…Traffic Update…Mud & Rock Slide in Southbound Lane near Murphys Grade Rd \/ French Gulch Rd. At approximately 2:18 PM, an incident occurred at the intersection of Murphys Grade Road and French Gulch Road. The incident involved a mud, dirt, and rock slide in the southbound lane. The location of the incident is south of Upper French.<\/p>\n

At 2:17 PM, emergency services were alerted to the situation and a unit was assigned to the incident at 2:21 PM. Another unit was also enroute to the scene. The Cordova Community Medical Center was notified, with the call being logged as number 1039.<\/p>\n

It is unclear at this time the extent of any damages or injuries resulting from the mud, dirt, and rock slide. It is also unknown what caused the incident. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.<\/p>\n
