Angels Camp, CA…Stop by the Calaveras Humane Society’s Thrift Store\/Cat Adoption Center in Angels Camp, located in Angels Town Center at 240 S. Main St.\/Hwy 49, open Thurs\/Fri, 10am\u20135pm, and Saturday, 11am\u20135pm. Lily will be there, along with a few other fabulous kitties who would love to meet you! Cat availability has decreased until kitten season, so our Arnold Adoption Center will be CLOSED this week. If you want to meet some kitties, Angels Camp is the place to be! The kitties hope to see you there!<\/p>\n

LILY is a sleek, young adult \u201cparlor panther\u201d with big green eyes. Poor Lily! A kindly neighbor brought Lily to the shelter because her family moved and abandoned her. Lily is friendly, gentle, responds to affection and is not at all demanding or clingy. She is somewhat \u201cself-contained\u201d and does not seem to mind having time to herself. Lily appreciates being petted and gently brushed, but what she especially loves is to be gently scratched behind her ears. Lily enjoys being on a lap and will sometimes roll from side to side on your lap to play with you. Lily, like many kitties, has her preferences on how she likes to be treated. You can touch her anywhere on her body, but if you pick Lily up and try to cuddle her in your arms like a baby, she gets squirmy and wants to get down on the floor. Lily gets along with other cats and will probably do well in almost any <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
