Calaveras Connect has a New Electric Van!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>San Andreas, CA&#8230;Calaveras Connect received its first electric vehicle last week. The Electric Ford Transit Van seats 8, with wheelchair accommodation and a bike rack. The Calaveras Council of Governments received grant funding through the Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP) to purchase the van. This is the first electric vehicle purchase for Calaveras Transit Agency in the implementation of California emissions standards requirements. Providing safe and convenient transportation services throughout our County is one of our highest priorities.
