The Sonora man followed the man in the stolen vehicle.  After a short distance, he parked the taken vehicle and began to walk away from it.  The vehicle theft victim arrived at approximately the same time struck the pedestrian leaving the stolen vehicle with his 2010 Ford Crown Victoria.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/chplogo.jpg\" alt=\"chplogo\" width=\"220\" height=\"94\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1763\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The collision resulted in major injuries and head trauma to pedestrian.  The injured party was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center and was then flown to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto with life threatening injuries.  The Sonora man was uninjured and remained at the scene.
