PARTY #2 WAS DRIVING A TOYOTA TUNDRA TRAVELING EASTBOUND IN THE EAST BOUND LANE AT ABOUT 45 MPH.<\/p>\n<p>FOR AN UNKNOWN REASON, VEHICLE #1 VEERED OFF THE ROADWAY ONTO THE NORTH DIRT SHOULDER, AND THEN VEERED BACK ONTO THE ROADWAY, ACROSS THE WESTBOUND LANE, INTO THE EASTBOUND LANE AND INTO THE PATH OF VEHICLE #2 WHERE THE LEFT SIDE OF VEHICLE #1 COLLIDED HEAD ON WITH VEHICLE #2.<\/p>\n<p>THE DRIVER OF VEHICLE #1 SUSTAINED FATAL INJURIES AND AND BOTH PASSENGERS WERE INJURED AND TRANSPORTED TO MODESTO MEMORIAL HOSPITAL. THE DRIVER OF VEHICLE #2 SUSTAINED INJURIES AND WAS ALSO TRANSPORTED TO MODESTO MEMORIAL. 3 JUVENILES WERE ALSO IN VEHICLE #2 AND SUSTAINED MINOR INJUIRES. THEY WERE PICKED UP AND TRANSPORTED BY FAMILY AT THE SCENE.<\/p>\n<p>FATIGUE AND\/OR DISTRACTED DRIVING MAY BE A FACTOR IN THIS COLLISION. ALCOHOL AND\/OR DRUGS IS NOT SUSPECTED.
